Finalmente è arrivata la tanto attesa e sognata estate!

Le giornate sono lunghe, calde e torride. Il sole splende e viviamo tutti in un clima un po’ di vacanza: sia chi è partito sia chi è rimasto in città. Dappertutto c’è aria di allegria e di festa.

Ecco una selezione di gioielli da indossare in queste calde giornate e nelle lunghe sere passate a festeggiare la bella stagione.

Piccolo vademecum per le gioie in vacanza:

1. cercate di evitare di potare i preziosi in spiaggia perché il sale e la sabbia rischiano di rovinarli. Optate per dei bijoux!E soprattutto attenzione, a differenza delle credenze comuni perle e coralli si rovinano con l’acqua salata: perché ricordatevi non si tratta più di esseri vivi! Quindi, abbiate la cura di indossare perle e coralli solo la sera, ma MAI in spiaggia!

A me personalmente, non piace portare i gioielli neppure bijoux in spiaggia: non mi piace l’effetto albero di Natale, trovo molto più fine essere un po’ “selvaggi e liberi” in vacanza.

2. Lo stesso vale anche in montagna, quando si passeggia è più sicuro indossare meno gioielli possibili, come d’altra parte sempre quando si pratica attività sportive. Indossando i gioielli mentre si pratica sport, si rischia di farsi male e di rovinare con il sudore i preziosi. Meglio tenerli da parte per indossarli la sera, durante una romantica cena con vista valle.

3. Altro tema importante è la sicurezza dei vostri gioielli; quando partite eviterei di portare dietro molti gioielli, solo lo stretto indispensabile, a maggior ragione se non siete sicuri di avere una cassetta di sicurezza nella località di villeggiatura. La famosa cassaforte in casa potrebbe risultare pericolosa, qualora venissero dei ladri mentre voi siete via. Quindi, ci sono due opzioni:

• C’è chi si ingegna a trovare i nascondigli più improbabili e impensabili. Anch’io lo faccio spesso: ma è rischioso e tutte le volte me ne pento! Perché tornati a casa immancabilmente non ci si ricorda più il nascondiglio e più di una volta ho pianto sicura di avere perso i miei preziosi. Che per ora per fortuna sono sempre saltati fuori dopo qualche settimana.
• Quindi la seconda opzione è la più sicura, ovvero la cara vecchia cassetta di sicurezza in banca. Lo so se siete pigre come me troverete odioso dovervi organizzare ogni volta per andare a prendere le gioie che vi servono in banca. Lo so è una seccatura. Ecco perché continuo a cascare nell’errore di nascondere i gioielli!

Finally the long-awaited and dreamed  summer arrives!

The days are long, hot and scorching. The sun is shining and we all live a little in a holyday mood: both who left and those who remained in the city. Everywhere there is a cheerful and festive air.

Here is a selection of jewelry to wear in those hot days and long evenings spent to celebrate the summer.

Small handbook for those who left with their jewels :

1. try to avoid wearing the jewels at the beach because salt and sand risk of damaging them. Opt for bijou! And especially attention, unlike common beliefs, pearls and corals are damaged by the salt water, because remember they aren’t no more living creatures! So you should take care to wear pearls and corals only in the evening, but NEVER at the beach!I personally  don’t like to carry jewels even bijoux on the beach: I don’t like the effect like  Christmas tree, I find much finer to be a little ” wild and free ” on vacation.
2. The same is true also in the mountains, when walking it’s safer wearing less jewelry possible, as always when you practice sports . Wearing  jewelry while practicing sports , you risk to hurt yourself and to damage with the sweat the jewels. It’s better to set jewels aside to wear them in the evening, during a romantic dinner with valley view.
3. Another important issue is the safety of your jewelry; when you leave, I would avoid to bring with me many jewels, only the bare essentials , even more if you aren’t sure to have a safe in the holyday resort. The famous safe at home could be dangerous if thieves came while you ‘re away. So, there are two options:
   • There are those who do their best to find the most unlikely and unthinkable hiding places. I do it often, but it’s risky and every time I regret it! Because once back at home, invariably I don’t remember the hideout and more than once I cried sure to have lost my jewels. That for now thankfully always skipped out after a few weeks.
   • So the second option is the most secure,that is the good old safe-deposit box in the bank . I know if you’re lazy like me you will find hateful to arrange each time to pick up the jewels you need in the bank. I know it’s an annoyance. That’s why I continue to fall into the mistake of hiding the jewels!
