Van Cleef & Arpels anche stavolta è riuscito a stupire tutti con un oggetto straordinario  (Extraordinary Object), l’Automate Fée Ondine, la fata automatizzata, oggetto di alta precisione meccanica e eccezionale bellezza artistica. Rappresenta il nuovo oggetto di lusso capace di unire tecnologia moderna alla maestria dell’arte orafa tradizionale.

Questo nuovo tipo di oggetto è favoloso ed incanterà persino ogni ingegnere.

La base grazie ad un ingranaggio meccanico è in grado di muoversi e segnare in questo modo lo scandire del tempo. La fata batte le ali e muove la testa e le braccia, così come anche i fiori si aprono e si chiudono. E sorpresa, dentro un fiore è presente una farfalla che sembra volare! Anche la foglia ondeggia come cullata dall’acqua. Tutti questi movimenti partono con una carica manuale.

Il tempo passa, ma si resta immobili stregati da questa indescrivibile bellezza: sembra di essere nel paese delle fiabe!

Ogni dettaglio è accuratamente curato: la coccinella in rubini che segna il tempo, le ali della farfalla in diamanti e opale, il corpetto di zaffiri, le ali smaltate e la coroncina di diamanti della fata: tutto è deliziosamente perfetto.

Solo la faccia della fata di acquamarina è volutamente lasciata misteriosa, in modo tale da potere lasciare libera la nostra immaginazione.

Questo oggetto ha affascinato tutti a SIHH, Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie a Ginevra.

Innovazione e tradizione si sono fusi insieme a dare luogo ad uno spettacolo favoloso, pieno di poesia e magia. Il futuro sembra già qui.

Come da tradizione la maison è stata in grado di unire l’orologeria all’alta gioielleria. Diversi tipi di artigiani hanno collaborato per ottenere la Automate Fée Ondine, coordinati dall’esperto di automazione François Junod che ha seguito questo progetto durato anni.

Da non dimenticare è anche il bellissimo orologio da polso da donna, Lady Arpels Papillon Automate Watch, della collezione The Poetry of Time presentata anch’essa a SIHH, a Ginevra: chicca di questo orologio consiste nella farfalla che è in grado di battere le ali!

Van Cleef & Arpels once again astonish all with a extraordinary item (Extraordinary Object), the Automate Fée Ondine, the Automated Fairy, a high mechanical precision and exceptional artistic beauty item. It is the new luxury item which is capable of combine modern technology to traditional goldsmith’s craftsmanship.

This new object type is fabulous and it will enchant even every engineer.

 

The base thanks to a mechanical gear is able to move and mark in this way the time. The fairy flaps her wings and moves her head and arms, as well as the flowers open and close. And surprise, inside a flower there is a butterfly that seems to fly! Even the leaf sways as cradled by water. All these movements start with a manual winding.

Time passes, but we remain motionless bewitched by this astounding beauty: it seems to be in the land of fairy tales!

Every detail is carefully taken care of: the ruby ladybug marking the time, the diamonds and opals butterfly wings, the sapphires bustier, the enameled wings and the diamonds crown of the fairy: everything is deliciously perfect.

Only the aquamarine face of the fairy is intentionally left mysterious, in such a way as to leave free our imagination.

This object has fascinated everyone at SIHH, Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie in Geneva.

Innovation and tradition are fused together to give rise to a fabulous spectacle, full of poetry and magic. The future seems already here.

As tradition the Maison was able to join the Watchmaking end Jewellery. Different types of artisans worked together to get the Automate Fée Ondine, coordinated by the automation expert François Junod who has followed this project lasted years.

Noteworthy is also the beautiful women’s wrist watch, Lady Arpels Papillon Automate Watch, of the collection The Poetry of Time which was also presented at SIHH in Geneva: this watch’s goody is wings’flapping of  the  butterfly!
