L’acquamarina è la mia pietra semipreziosa preferita da sempre: sono le sue dolci sfumature di azzurro ad avermi conquistato. E quando un’acquamarina è pulita non ha niente da invidiare a un diamante fancy sky!

Chi di voi possiede un’acquamarina sa bene quanto purtroppo si sporchino facilmente! Ma niente paura esiste un metodo facile e veloce per fare ritornare la vostra acquamarina come nuova! Lo potete fare voi in casa!

Ecco come pulire le vostre amate acquamarine in 3 step:

1.Basta prendere un pentolino e fare quasi bollire l’acqua, ovvero bisogna spegnere la fiamma appena si iniziano a vedere le prime bollicine, se no la temperatura sarebbe troppo elevata e si rischierebbe di rovinare l’acquamarina.

2.Prendete con un pinzetta la pietra e lasciatela a bagno per qualche minuto senza toccare il fondo del pentolino.

3.L’acqua calda avrà sciolto tutto lo sporco che ora è possibile rimuovere facilmente con un vecchio spazzolino .

Ed ecco che in breve tempo la mia acquamarina è tornata come nuova!Così sfavillante che ho fatto fatica a fotografarla!

How to clean a Aquamarine

 

The aquamarine is always my favorite semi-precious stone: its sweet shades of blue have win me over. And when an aquamarine is clean it has nothing to envy to a fancy sky diamond!

Those of you who have an aquamarine knows how unfortunately it easily gets dirty! But don’t worry there is a quick and easy method to get your aquamarine back as new! You can do it at home!

 

Here’s how to clean your beloved aquamarines in 3 steps:

1. Just take a saucepan and almost boil water, it means you have to turn off the heat as soon as you see the first bubbles, otherwise the temperature would be too high and you would risk damaging the aquamarine.
2. Take with a pair of tweezers the stone and let it soak for a few minutes without touching the bottom of the pan.
3. The hot water will have dissolved all the dirt that you can now easily remove with an old toothbrush.

And so in a short time my aquamarine is back as new! So bright that I found hard to photograph it!

Yeah! Give me five!
